Liked this book- I enjoy fiction from the male protagonists' point of view, and this one didn't disappoint of insight and interest. Love the football theme and the details of Italy and Europe. Found some of the love interest (don't want to spoil it) issues flat and strange, but overall, good read. Would recommend.

Read this earlier in the summer and it was okay, but not the usual suspenseful Grisham novel. The main character -- not that sympathetic.

this is not hios genre. but i liked the painted house. so i had big expectation on this one. it didn actually keep up with my expectation. but it was good. yhe prob is the story was so lame. the hero is finished in NFL in us n goes to a unknown place to get out of the situation. norm boy meets a gal n hw he finds himself loyal 2 the club sounds too boring. but ul love it if u wanna know abt italy...more
