A great book for layman (such as my self) who would like a introduction to some of Jung's concepts, in particular his ideas regarding the unconscious and the language of symbols it uses to express. more A great book for layman (such as my self) who would like a introduction to some of Jung's concepts, in particular his ideas regarding the unconscious and the language of symbols it uses to express. He also makes profound associaitions between between the different cultures of the world and the recurrence of parallel mythical themes in their religious development. For me as a seeker, it answered many questions about the world I wished to explore and certainly, my 'self'. This book motivated to read more of Jung's academic work, which, without this (an MDR) I would never had a hope of understanding.
