Island of the Blue Dolphins

Very interesting and mystical story based on a true life of this girl. Definately a must read.

I totally relate to this story. I admire her strength and creativity. If I were stuck on an island, probably,the only reason I would survive is because of what this character gave me.

Along with "My Side of the Mountian" this was my favorite childhood book.

Required reading when I was in high school and even so, I liked it.
