Island of the Blue Dolphins

Didn't really appreciate this as a kid, but we read it in class and some of the other kids really like it, not so much me.

Loved this one when I was in middle school.

I haven't even thought of these books in years but I remember this being a favorite...will reread.

I was in the third grade and my friends wouldn't believe I was reading a book with no pictures. I was the Island of the Blue Dolphins in 4th grade, and my teacher took it from me about 10 times. I still remember this book, after about 40 years. I had my daughter Violet read this and she loved it as well. It is a story that transcends generations.   hide

Will have to read this one again, I was about 12 when I last read it but I loved this story!
