Redwall

The Redwall series takes readers to a place they have never been, worlds which could never exist yet parallel ours so closely we half believe it does. Great for children but still highly enjoyable for any age, the entire Redwall series is unique and unforgettable. The characters are vivid, and the stories perfectly crafted to tantalize and absorb you.

This is wonderful book of love and devotion and courage. Perfect for a long car ride and wonderful for all ages.

Brian Jacques is one of my very favorite authors! I really love his books! I'm always looking for books he's written that I don't have yet. Redwall is a very good book, as are all Brian Jacques books. They hold your interest to the end!

This series of books were my oldest son's favorites!

A true classic, with unforgetable characters and true deep emotions. I can't say how many times I have cried reading this series. My youngest son gets upset with me when I read Redwall to him. I get so carried away, do scary voices and get up and act out scenes.

I love this whole series. I read Martin the Warrior first when I was 12, and since then I've bought and read all of them many times over. They do all follow a similar pattern, but the characters are always new and very lovable. I like this one because it's the first one of the series that he wrtoe, and the style he wrote in was really neat. Very different from the others. I love them all!

The first Redwall book--this one-- was the best, with fun characters and stories and excelent descriptive writing. Then I started reading the other ones and found that they all seem to follow a similar pattern and I began to get bored with them. I would recommend this one, the sequal Mattimeo...or something like that, and Mossflower. Oh, and the audio book for this was absolutely terrible.   hide

If this is your first Brian Jacques book, you'll really enjoy it. If it's your second, well, it'll be just like your first.

Beautiful! Moving, exciting, descriptive...makes you feel like you are right there in that world. I read the whole series and loved every one. Great for most all ages. Some of the battle scenes can be sad and graphic, so not the best for tweens with nightmare issues.
