Sookie is so much fun to read about. But there haven't been many new novels for me to read since I plowed through them last summer. So this collection of short stories involving Sookie and some of the colorful characters in the novels gave me a nice touch of the Sookie I've been missing.

Considering everything that happened to Sookie in the last book, I guess this one had to be this way. Not the best, but still had information.

Some pretty cheesy stories in here, but then that should be no shock considering how cheesy the regular novels are. Too bad I didn't know about these beforehand, though, because there's a couple of fillers between the regular books that would have been good to know at the time.

I love love LOVE the sookie stackhouse books, but I did not like this one at all. The main reason was that it's so short and the font is so huge that I read the entire thing in around two hours. Also, I just don't think these short stories really capture the characters. Short story writing is a whole different ball game, and I don't think Harris is much of a short story writer. Save...more

This is a collection of all the short stories about Sookie Stackhouse. My favorites are "One Word Answer" - the queen is so badass, and this one actually contains an important part of the storyline - and "Lucky" - I love when Amelia & Sookie are together. "Gift Wrap" really creeped me out though, I hate creepy great grandpa!

This is really fun......especially since seeing the serious on HBO ---when I read I hear the voices of the characters and it just makes the whole read a delight. Short stories that give you more insight to our Sookie Stackhouse---new characters who add spice. I'm looking forward to reading the whole series.

Fun little snippets of Sookie. Not all of them are great, but they are nice bridges to the books. I am glad I found the book and read them.

I read this after all the others. Got me confused so I had to go back and reread all the books over again to get the timeline straight again.
