Sookie's boyfriend has been very distant-in another state, distant. Now she's off to Mississippi to mingle with the underworld at Club Dead-a little haunt where the vampire elite go to chill out. But when she finally finds Bill-caught in an act of betrayal-she's not sure whether to save him...or sharpen some stakes. less
Another fun book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. They never get boring, the only negative thing that can be said is they read too fast; it only takes me about a day of 3, 4 to finish a book, the end of the novel always comes far too soon :-)
If you think that all of the supernatural beings have revealed themselves yet, think again. Club Dead will make you want to come back for more... what is around the next corner, what will happen next? Chalaine Harris has a knack for keeping the reader riveted.
This series is getting more intense as it goes along. i enjoyed this book even more than the first two. Even if it did strike me as the "New Moon" (from the "Twilight" series) of this series.
