This is one of the Sookie books I liked the best. More action than normal, some new characters. I like to read between my weekly tv shows to get my True Blood fix.

i listened to the next book in the sookie stackhouse series recently.  number 7 was my least favorite so far...but still entertaining.  if you listen to audio in the car for a long commute i would recommend the entire series because they are entertaining and the narrator is great...i just started number 8 and am hoping for a little better story.

I believe this book seven in the series. Anyhow, in this novel Sookie's services are requested by the Queen of Louisiana at the Summit. Eric is not happy he has been one up by the Queen requesting Sookie's presents. Bill is not happy she will be there. Quinn is not happy she going to the Summit with the Vamps, even though he will be there handling the special entertainment. Oh and Claudine, her...more

Yet, Sookie goes LOL Sookie does what Sookie wants, and somehow manages to come out OK even if she does ruffle a few feathers. She does get to see Barry the Bellboy, the only other telepath she has ever met!   hide

Finally a long Sookie Stackhouse novel. I loved how we got to read about the Vampire summit and all that goes on behind closed doors. I couldn't put it down.
