It has taken me a while to get into this one. But I am enjoying it now.  Harry is a great character.

Another fantabulous fantasy from Robin McKinley.  A strong cast, and amazing setting, and a riveting story come together to make this book one to catch.  McKinley has fleshed out the desert land of Damar in vivid detail, and the main character, Harry, is a strong young woman.  This would be a great book for a teenage girl who likes fantasy, but would maybe like to encounter a great heroine for...more
