Meh, everything after book 4 is a let-down, I think. But still better than anything not actually written by the man himself, Frank Herbert.

The culmination of Frank Herbert's work on Dune, this book makes up for its predecessors. It is by far the best since the first Dune. If you can make it through the others to get this far, you will be pleasantly surprised at the change in this story... or at least I was!

for being the epic ending for an amazing series that took about 30 years to complete...it was pretty anticlimactic...but awesome anyway.

This one is confusing and weird--I think Herbert was getting a bit senile when he was working on this book.

Before his death, Frank Herbert left a few last amazing turns in his fantastic series. The orders of the universe have been jumbled and are now on the verge of complete and utter destruction. No messiahs left. No saviors to create. Can the few, conquer the many? find out.

The Dune Books (main 6) are a monument to what the human imagination is capable of.A fine entry in the series. Strangeness abounds.
