Time Enough For Love

I loved this book. I really enjoy books about time travel and Heinlein went into real depth to consider the emotional aspects of a man who could stick around forever.

Magnificent!

Lazarus Long is one of my all time favorite fictional characters. I never get tired of this one.

So much potential, and while the story idea is pretty good, the dialogue reads as if Heinlein just didn't understand male-female interactions... The women are so capable, and yet their discussions sound like those between 5-year-old children who have sucked on the sweetness-and-light bulb of life their entire existence... For all the good things I've heard about this book, I was pretty shocked by how bad it was. This novel appears to have been Heinlein's excuse to delve into every incestual thought that ever passed through his head, culminating with his protagonist's journey back into time to have sex with his own mother. Creeeepy. And pointless. A very interesting plotline wasted :(

Another book that makes you really think about what goes into being who you are. Made me re-examine both myself and the feelings of others around me.

This book is one I HAVE to re-read every few years - finding new things to love about it every time.
