Such a touching story about teenagers who did not just think about themselves. He wrote about teens who showed sensitivity toward their fellow human beings. I loved how these two young people made grown up decisions and impressed the adults. Nicholas is noted for sad endings.

I find if I watch the movie first, I like it better than the book and vise-versa. In this case, I saw the movie first. Still a good book.

Very emotional book. Brought tears to my eyes.
