This book was simply amazing. I had never reach such a great novel in such a long time. This was so good, it only took me two days to read it. I think this movie could turn into a good movie someday. This book was simply amazing. I had never reach such a great novel in such a long time. This was so good, it only took me two days to read it. I think this movie could turn into a good movie someday. It is very much a page turner and hard to put down. Although, by half the way through, you could begin to guess well ahead of time what was going to happen, it was still great! I very much enjoyed the complexity of Sean and his partner. Especially his partner. That chick obviously had some serious mental issues thus making the story even better. There were still some twists I never expected to happen that drove the story even more. The ending was a bit on the lame side - especially the very last page.. ugh - but great great great book. I'm not very insightful or deep, but just take my word for it: its great.   hide

I agree it was great but for someone who loves baldacci and have read the first 2 books with these characters I loved every page including the last. I recommend everybody who read this to read split second and hour game in that order then you'll really love this book. can't wait for the next one. and yes these books would make great movies equal or better (depending on who does them) to all...more

Baldacci is excellent. Although he has many characters throughout his books, we now have 2 wonderfully developed characters reappearing: King & Maxwell and the Camel Club. Riveting to the end and I can't wait for his next book to appear (which unfortunately will be about 9-12 months away).

Good read - I went cover to cover in one day. Delves deeped into 2 of Baldacci's best characters, Sean King and Michelle Maxwell. Well written, as all his books are. Admittedly the plot get pretty complicated and a bit hard to follow at the end, but still worth reading.
