Absolute Power

Great book that made a great movie! Did not picture Eastwood in the lead however. It's the kind of book that you have to read with no distractions to keep up with the plot.

NOt bad for a debut realease. Gripping as all his books are, movie's not bad either!

Be it an American President or a layman, once someone has committed a crime, they r sure to be put behind bars. A great theme. The most fantastic line in the book, uttered by the American President(character), "I'm not the first man to hold this office(White House) to engage in those types of extracurricular activities. Nor will I be the last". Hope u can understand what extracurricular activities mean here. A murder which has many sequels, all because of the President's extracurricular activities, finally gets him behind bars. The minus of this novel is the narration, seems to be too descriptive at times, makes it bulky. Anyways, It's a great novel.   hide
