Ambitious subjects (Prophecy of Fatima, pregnant virgins, love between one priest and a formal sister (both catholic of course)), however the extremely sectioned style (111 chapters never exceeding 3 pages each) fails to build the necessary psychologies to the characters and establish therefore the likelihood of the story.
Loved this book. And no, it is not an Alex Cross book. Nothing like a well written supernatural thriller to get the imagination and blood racing. This book was hard to put down.
James Patterson is at his best when he writes his stand-alone books. The Womens Murder Club and Cross are good to fair. But they become the same formula book after book,
