I love this author. His humor mixed with a thriller. This story is about a woman who is thrown overboard by her husband on a cruise ship. She is able to swim to safety and is picked up by a guy who lives alone on an island. The quest begins to get back at her husband. This is an excellent beach book - easy to read and a page turner.
Joey Perrone is tossed off of a cruise ship by her slimy husband, Chaz, on their anniversary. He has been falsifying water pollution levels for an equally slimy farmer who is dumping into the waters of the Everglades and Chaz believes that Joey is onto the scheme.
