Another excellent entry in the ongoing saga of Agent Pendergast. This time, the tension and fear for main characters was higher than any before as Pendergast's maniacal brother Diogenes outmatches him with a diabolical plan decades in the making. Highly recommended series!

I just finished reading this book. I have to admit it is AWESOME! I feel like I say that about all of the Preston/Child books. The character Agent Pendergast is incredible. A+ book, no doubt.

DANCE OF DEATH is one of a trilogy. I have come to hate triologies, everyone has to write them. However I am hooked on the stories witten by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. This trilogy consists of BRIMESTONE, DANCE OF DEATH, and THE BOOK OF THE DEAD. I have yet to read BOOK OF THE DEAD. The characters in these books are in many of Preston and Child's other works: MOUNT DRAGON, RELIC,...more

To date this is probably my Favorite Pendergast book on the market. Its the 2nd in the Diogenes Trilogy (preceded by Brimstone, follow by Book of the Dead). It will help to read brimstone first (although not essential), but after reading this one you will immediately jump to reading Book of the Dead. As a Series of Murders start to happen our Favorite FBI Special Agent...more
