finished reading this "bittersweet" story today.  me, reli cant wait to see the movie version in oct.  umm, looking forward to see handsome richard gere?  haha...reli want to watch this wonderful story "on screen".  people say "once you had in your life, that's enough."  well, that's true.  that's real!!

I have to admit that I was very disappointed in this book.  The story was sweet, but you know right from the start what's going to happen and where it's going.  It did keep me entertained.  But the ending was disappointing.  I'm beginning to lose interest in Sparks, as some of his books (like this one) are kind of weak and predictable.

Formulaic and predictable. The romance of such intensity after only two days together simply wasn't believable.  I didn't even bother finishing the final chapter...

I have to admit the following: I am not a Nicholas Sparks fan, and my preference for this book probably stems from my current life situation. That said, while predictable, this novel was a page-turner and also full of more memorable quotes than any of the previous Sparks books I have read. If you are a fan of his, I suggest giving it a go; even if you dislike him, I think it's worth the day...more

I've never read a Nicholas Sparks book, and I have to admit that I didn't cry during the movie version of "The Notebook," but my great aunt gave me this book and told me it was wonderful, so I'm reading it.  So far, it is really holding my interest.  I think I'm going to like it.  The book is short, and I find that after reading something that takes a while to get...more
 I've never read a Nicholas Sparks book, and I have to admit that I didn't cry during the movie version of "The Notebook," but my great aunt gave me this book and told me it was wonderful, so I'm reading it.  So far, it is really holding my interest.  I think I'm going to like it.  The book is short, and I find that after reading something that takes a while to get through, I like to read a shorter work for the gratification of completing a book quickly.   hide

As soon as I started reading this book I knew I would not want to put it down until I was finished!  Nights in Rodanthe is beautifully written and captured my attention til the end.  Nicholas Sparks made me feel as though I was there watching this heartfelt romance unfold.  In fact, as I read this story I was transported back in time where I too was swept off my feet!!

I LOVED THIS BOOK AND THE MOVIE AS WELL VERY NICE LOVE STORIE
i actually finished it today loved it tears came to my eyes reading it when the movie comes out this month got to see it another great one Nicholas Sparks 
I really injoyed reading it  waiting for it to come out i the movies but i picture adrienne and paul the all time reading this book and it did bring tears to my eyes at the end
