My most recent read was one of your classic trashy romance novels. Love Slave, by Beatrice Small, is a historical romance set in Spain in the middle ages. The ravishing Scottish beauty is captured from her convent and sold to a rich Moor who trains her to be a courtesan to the rich and powerful. They fall in love, but can't be together, and the usual plot twists ensue. It was pretty good. There are sex scenes almost every chapter, many different partners, and quite a bit of variation in the style of sex. There is also some interesting history woven in. It was very enjoyable, but I can only read so much of that stuff. Overall a 7 out of 10.   hide
