Quirky characters but a great story.

Under-developed characters who sometimes do inexplicable things...frustrated me. The writing itself isn't bad, except it didn't really engage me--for example, I read it on a plane (mostly for lack of anything else) and read almost to the end before I had to close it to get off the plane. It was days later before I realized I hadn't actually finished it. Ultimately unsatisfying.

I swear to God this book was written about my autistic uncle living in Baltimore. Uncanny..... But besides that, it was a wonderfully written book. But I did find the end unsatisfying. I'd be open for discussion on this, though.
