Nightmares & Dreamscapes

I am mad about short stories and this one is no exception.

Most of the stories were decent. I liked two in particular, but some of them were nothing special.

I tend to like Stephen King's short stories over his novels, and this collection is one of my favorites. Some of the best in here include "The Moving Finger", "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band", "Crouch End", and "Rainy Season." King has a knack of writing stories about things that happen "just 'cause", and they're usually my favorites. "Suffer the Little Children" is a good example. Not all of the stories are keepers, but there are more keepers than stinkers in this one. One of his best.   hide
