On one hand, the guy lost his memory. On the other, he remembers too many details in regards to the launch.
The only positive thing I can say about it is that it seems to have been well researched as to location and the author did occasionally use language that was appropriate to the time (e.g., the hotel had a "space rocket" on top).
Final opinion: This book is simply not worth the read. Tom Clancy and Robert Ludlum's novels run circles around this.
