Pure entertaining brain candy.

If you like Katie MacAlister, you'll probably enjoy this book. The characters are alright, but it's a little cookie cutter. I feel like this author is straining to develop beyond her mediocre talents. I tend to pick her novels up in the dull, empty stretches of time while waiting for my favorite authors to crank out something new.

What can I say? It's a Katie MacAlister MUST HAVE! I bought this book yesterday and finished it today. What can I say? It's a Katie MacAlister MUST HAVE! I bought this book yesterday and finished it today. As usual, (and not to be taken lightly) Katie weaves a story with humor, steam, and LOTS of mystery! I loved the Asling Grey, Guardian novels and it looks like Pia is following - if you liked Ash, you'll like Pia. The story has twists, turns and of course the yummiest of all males. I love Pia and Kristoff!

I just finished reading this five minutes ago, so I can promise my opinion is still really fresh. I thought this was a great second installment to hr dark ones series. I was worried that this was going to be one of those books that focused on emotional battles instead of the problem at hand. The end was kinda cheese ball but it was saved by the rest of the book. Great writing and witty humour kept me interested throughout the whole plot. Looking forward to the third one.   hide
