I read this entire piece of crap book for a class. James Joyce is a good writer, but is so obsessed with himself that the book should really be entitled, "Look At Me and How Great I Am!!!"
Why be afraid of Nietzsche ?
"Thus Spoke Zarathustra" is N's attempt to empower Christianity if not invent a new religion. His insight that we are all creative beings at our best is a central tenet to our daily lives. Tells us what you really think N. No holds barred .
Some parts get a little slow, but an incredible read. Especially for a young man like myself! His religious phase and his liking for Aquinas is lost on me, but the big picture stays true.
