1984 Nineteen Eighty-Four

It is a true classic in every sense of the world. I am glad I have read it. A mind-blogging insight into the workings of a tyrannical government.Very relevant to the present day and a warning for eternity. Humans are a mere specks of dust and puppets in the hands of the Big Brother. Yes all governments are the Big Brother in a sense and the fact is a revelation.

I am beyond words on 1984. The beginning was a bit slow for me. I lost interest at first, but did pick up the interest as things went on...don't want to do a spoiler here. The Big Brother part did hit home...no I do not want govt to have total control of my life. A good read and I do recommend and develop your own conclusion. Given the subject matter, almost a personal read.

Depressing!

A disturbing book of a possible future. Hopefully one that never happens.

En rekommendation, helt klart =) Skrämmande scenario om vad människor är kapabla att skapa för värld om vi låter oss drivas av maktbegär och kontroll. Färgad bok efter tidigare krig och diktaturer, och ganska humoristiska steriotyper efter vilken klasstillhörighet de tillhör. En rekommendation, helt klart :)
