Walden: Or, Life in the Woods (Dover Thrift)

This book was formative for me, although I haven't re-read it in years. I picked it up in high school after getting interested in MLK and then Gandhi and then Thoreau. It was what they're now calling "the go-go 80s" and the idea that, "A man is rich is proportion to the number of things he can afford to let alone," meant a lot to me.
