A must read for all Christians and speculators alike. It touches on almost all aspects of a person's spiritual journey. You'll meet so many characters along the way and may even 'know' a good many of them. I prefer the original to the more modern translations because it is a work of literature, indeed, great literature to be savored and appreciated. I don't perceive John Bunyan's language as hard but rich in color (not just gloss) and most effective in describing human characteristics. You can read this book online at ccel.org.   hide

It's a wonderful story

I read this book as a fairly new believer many years ago, and found it to be an amazing book. Filled with so many scriptural word pictures, it is utterly captivating, and inspiring. I have gone back and re-read parts of it many times. I think its time to sit down and read thru it all again!
