I don't own this edition. I own earlier editions. Dumas' book of swordplay, adventure, loyalty and honor while facing an encroaching evil has been the template for many an adventure story ever since, with charismatic characters, a great plot and fun pace. Why else would so many movies and spin-offs as movies or books be made?
