This is my favorite of all of Lee Child's books (that he's written so far, that is). Didnt like this book as much as other Reacher novels. For starters the story dragger too much in Vietnam and military technicalities and then the story of the Stone couple was never given any closure ... and you are just left wondering 'so what happened to Chester and Marilyn...?'. Even the ending where Hobie actually turned out to be a two-bit con-man was a disappointment ...

I can generally devour a Jack Reacher novel in less time than it takes me to eat a packet of Hobnobs. This was no exception. Can't get enough.

The Jack Reacher in this book is quite a bit different than in other Lee Child books. There was also a lot more brutality. Not quite as good as the many others I've read.
