Fantastic collection of short stories!

This consist of 4 stories by 4 different authors. I enjoyed 3 of them! I loved the first, which was written by JD Robb. The story was along the lines of the Eve Dallas series. The second story was written by Susan Kinkard and I'm sorry to say I couldn't get into it. The third story was written by Maggie Shayne, and I found her quite entertaining. The second story was written by Susan Kinkard and I'm sorry to say I couldn't get into it. The third story was written by Maggie Shayne, and I found her quite entertaining. This is the first I have ever read of her material, and I am hoping to read more of her in the future. The final story was by Laurell Hamilton, one of my favorites. She writes the Anita Blake Vampire Executioner Series!! This story was actually the beginning of Narcissus in Chains. It was odd to have the beginning of a story as a short story!! :/ It works don't get me wrong, but since I know there is suppose to be more, it felt wrong to me!   hide
