Love this book! I've read the entire Carpathian series and this one is one of my very favorites. Byron is one of my favorite Carpathians because he did not start as a hunter but as an artist. Its combines the Scarlettis, the Carpathians, and of course the Jaguar people. Plus, as always with Feehan, there's a bit of mystery and a whole lot of adventure. Give it a read. You'll love it!
