Benedictus did a remarkable job with this sequel, keeping the stories sweet, simple and rambling as they should be. Burgess' illustrations are adorable, channeling the brush of Shepard, although paler and simpler. Christopher Robin is shockingly older and hence his more mature language. Boys do grow and change, and if you keep an open mind, this is a delightful book. Just, please, don't let C.R....more

Nostalgic & a little melancholy at the end -- the kind that requires a great sigh and a moment of deep thoughts.
Lottie, the pearl-wearing otter & new kid in the Wood, fits in nicely with the gang. Overall, it's really a well-done, 80-years-in-the-making sequel.
