A truly amazing and very surprising book! It's probably my favourite novel apart from the host!

John Green has totally engrossed me into both of his books that I've read. Can't help wanting the leading Females. I found myself not enjoying this one as much as Katherines but ended up loving it!

I had a hard time putting this down once I started it. I loved the countdown (136 days before)- a great way to create suspense and to organize the story. I was intrigued with the witty and ultra-smart characters - a trademark of Green.

Great YA novel about a boy, Mile Halter, who leaves his blah life to try something new at a boarding school. He makes friends, including the quirky Alaska, and no more blah! Fun, edgey, sad, angsty.
