Final battle between Harry Potter and You-Know-Who was a bit of a let-down: first of all, it destroyed the well-built concept of 'it's the wizard not the wand', then left out Ron and Hermione, and wasn't vivid enough. Despite that, the final scene was powerful enough to give an accurate impression.
Good characterization of most people in the novel - makes the readers love them even more & even empathize with some villains (e.g. the Malfoys). Snape's story was well-timed and told a lot that was previously left open to the reader's imagination.
On the whole, an epic story that is sure to last. A bittersweet ending for devoted Harry Potter fans - I hope Rowling will continue to inspire us with her future books!
