So-so Terry Pratchett book. It started strong, but then lost my interest once they actually got to the disc. For me, it was most enjoyable as an archeological experience, plumbing the the Pratchett's pre- (or proto-) Discworld past.

Sci-fi Pratchett-style - this was an eyeopener & a delight to read! I adore the discworld novels, but is was such fun to read something in another genre from my favourite author!

Enjoyable non-taxing read.

Closer to Douglas Adams' style than traditional for Terry Pratchett. A bit more serious, and a bit less comedic, but still pretty good.
