The Scarlet Letter

I hate this book! We had to read if for an American lit. class and by the end I was completely turned off. This is one book I won't be making my kids read for their Am. lit. course.

Probably one of the best books I've read about character and morality.

I read this book 50 years ago but it is still one of my favorites. It shows the hyprocrisy that is still with us today just as it has been throughout history.

Good except for the first chapter.
