I love this series so much that I'm thinking of getting it for my nieces. Its a beautiful story about an intelligent orphan who is on survival mode most of the time and when she lets her guard down a little she finds love in family and friends. The story begins when she is a pre-teen and follows her through college, work, marriage and children of her own. Its full of romance (books, scenery, childhood sweethearts, etc.) comedy and real life experiences.   hide

Finally they are married! I love this one with the new people they meet and the whole newly wed feel to it. The relationship with Leslie is amazing. I love Captain Jim.

It is one of my favorites. I read it 3 times.
