one of my favorite reads ever, incredible reading the autobiography of one of my childhood heroes, I knew he broke the sound barrier and was an amazing test pilot, but I didn't know about all the other gutsy amazing things he did. He escaped from France after being shot down in WWII!!!

One of the better autobiographies I've read. I loved hearing about his life and the amazing things he quietly and fearlessly did!

interesting story about a gutsy guy who literally had to fly by the seat of his pants sometimes. Intrigued with people who feel compelled to do things no one else has done before. A quick but good read.

A great story of the best pilot of all.

A true American hero who changed history. Exciting and interesting read.
