By far my favorite book and author ever!  I love the mini-stories.  I've lost count on how many times I've re-read this book.  All I know is that it is being held together by a rubber band!

I can clearly understand that this has become a classic. However, a lot of the novels are by now quite dated. Therefore, I got a very mixed impression of it.
