Dr. Angelou is my favorite poet. This book speaks volumes about the beautiful soul of the author.

I thought this book would be a good first-hand insight into the prejudices 'negros' (as they r call in the book)faced in 1930s south america. however i felt the book didnt make many strong cases apart from a racist dentist and employment in san fransisco. as an autobiography it wasnt very indepth and the grammar and descriptions were poor. I wouldnt recommend it, but then again everyone...more
