It was an interesting book. It explained in detail how another world in another universe would work, and really let me experience that world. The ending was so-so, but the rest of the book was good enough to make up for that.
This book was a departure from the common Asimov themes of the Laws of Robotics, mercury pool memories and positronic brains. With a theological sub-plot, the story challenges the reader to think about the nature of life.
