I, Robot

If your only exposure to this title is the movie of the same name, do yourself a favor and read the book. It's a lot better.

Ack, my copy is from the 70's so my cover is not like this at all. To classify "I, Robot" as sci-fi or even as a psychological thriller would be to minimalize it. After reading each story, you'll sit back and think, "Dear God . . . wow!" Isaac Asimov uses artificial intelligence to reflect the human psyche in a brilliant manner.

I saw the movie first, and had heard the book was vastly different, because it is. It's a shame the screenwriter didn't do a more faithful adaptation, because the connected vignettes that make up the novel are interesting, thoughtful and suck you in.
