Maybe my favourite triology in the Star Wars universe starts with this book. Luke Skywalker plans to rebuild the Jedi Order, and with these books we really start getting an insight in what the force is and how people perceive it. A MUST for those who like Star Wars

The first Star Wars book I ever read... fantastic book that has lead to a want to read all the Star Wars novels. Kevin Anderson does a great job and introduces a few new charecters that play major roles in future books.

Very good start to a trilogy. Excellent villain in the form of Admiral Daala, who is the strategical opposite of the previous trilogy's villain, Grand Admiral Thrawn. I know some people think the superweapon concept became overblown with the introduction of the Sun Crusher, but for me, the concept of a superweapon, especially in the Star Wars universe, has never gotten old.
