Awesome. Just an awesome book. A must read for all those wanting to enter the service. The self sacrifice of many of the men in 1st Marine Division is honorable. Most of the Marines in this book where very young, most of the lower enlisted personal where 18-20 years of age. The story should be read by all those who want us to pull out of Irag.

Readers get a real sense of the difference between modern warfare invasions and modern warfare occupations when you read "The March Up" and "No True Glory." This book documented in finite detail, but with great flow, the details of the Marine Invasion across the commanders of the 3 regimental Combat Teams while simultaneously describing the private and Corporal's viewpoint from the trenches.
