Average fare but Stephenson is a fantastic storyteller, so still worth the time.

Excellent read. Great political fiction and science fiction mix.

Them two manage to create an interesting read, set in an era that is fresh in our minds. The first Gulf war is the object of interest here and possible terrorist activity. The plot itself is rather standard and fairly predictable. The book is however by no means bad. Far from it. I recommend it as an entertainment - don't expect Snow Crash though.

Stephenson, but a bit dumber and still 330 times better than that Dirk Pitt-type crap. 330 times.
