Brother Odd (Odd Thomas Novels)

The entire series is very good overall. One of the few stories where the plot has not been heard or hashed and re-hashed to everyone on the planet.

Odd Thomas as a monk? I don't see it; staying in the guest room, yeah, that I can believe. This story starts out slow, and goes very wrong. Koontz tries hard to make you believe that this is a Odd Thomas story, but it really doesn't fit. The long soliloquies are very Odd, yet drag on without much revelation.
