Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl

A long awaited read. The book stayed with me whilst reading it and for a long time after. The 'cut off' ending of the diary was an unusual style and left me wanting more of the story . The realisation for the abrupt end makes you feel angry and helpless for the Franks.

amazing stuff... my heart was broken for the second time when I visited the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam. Everybody must read lest we forget our past horrors.

Read BEFORE going to the house she lived in in Amsterdam. Another fave of the year! Another reminder of the gratitude we should hold for our freedom.
