Right, maybe. Still the plot is solid, the politics are quite well developed and the relationships are pretty good. I like the way the predominant setting is so accurately developed. Bova definitely finds a place in the ranks of those who take their science seriously ... mostly. No, really, in truth I like the book and will look into the rest of the Grand Tour.
