First one I read in a series that gripped me for years..
loved it, could not put it down, Daring do, magic, a love interest, a cause - what could be finer?
Like Prince of the Blood, this is not one of his strongest books, but is a must read in order to understand the events between the Riftwar and the Serpentwar. It also deepens the character of Nakor further beyond a simple trickster.
