LOVED it.

one of the dumbest books i've ever read. i've read it because i've have had a choice between reading that book and nibbling the wall; now nibbling of the wall doesn't seem scary to me anymore. did someone find _any_ human being in that book? i've failed. instead i've found bunch of black and white superheroes and antiheroes, all acting like crazy old witches. gods from olympus were much more human than these :) for example, white superhero nicolas knocks out black superhero sergeant, and black antiheroes soldiers are starring at it like cows. it's a pitty we have so much toilet paper in these times; otherwise i'd know the best place for that book. one of the _dumbest_ books i ever read. seriously. there are no men and women in the book, just black and white superheroes and antiheroes. i didn't find any human being. did someone? for example, isn't it funny, when one good superman knocking down bad sergeant and other soldiers just starring? i've found this book funny so i give one star for good mood it affected; however, i won't read any book from this author. never ever.   hide

I liked the premise and characters of Johansen's "Firestorm" better, but she took more time with relationship and character development in this one, which was good. Just felt more of a connection with the characters in "Firestorm," but more of a connection between the characters with this one. I liked the premise and characters of Johansen's "Firestorm" better, but she took more time with relationship and character development in this one, which was good. Just felt more of a connection with the characters in "Firestorm," but more of a connection between the characters with this one. However, it was pretty confusing and complex at parts, and the ending was just too abrupt. I actually think I liked "Firestorm" better, so try that one first.   hide
